Privacy Policy
What this website collects, what it does not, and who else is involved when you use it.
In short
GhazTech does not run a server that collects visitors' data. This website is a set of static pages. The enquiry, review and developer forms do not transmit anything anywhere — they open your own email application with the message pre-filled, and you decide whether to send it. The only feature that stores anything is the optional customer or developer account, and that is handled by Google's Firebase service.
Information you send us deliberately
When you use a form on this site, the details you type are placed into a draft email addressed to ghaztechsolutions@gmail.com. Nothing leaves your device until you press send in your own mail application. Once we receive that email it sits in our mailbox like any other correspondence, and we use it only to reply to you and to carry out work you ask us to do.
The same applies if you contact us by phone or by email directly.
Accounts
Creating a customer or developer account is entirely optional — every part of this website can be read and every form can be used without one. If you do create an account, the following is stored by Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore, both operated by Google:
- The name you enter
- Your email address
- Whether the account is a customer or a developer account
- An account identifier generated by Firebase
Your password is managed entirely by Firebase. It is never sent to GhazTech, never visible to us, and never stored by us in any form. We use this information only to let you log back in and to know which type of account you hold.
Google processes this data as our service provider, under its own terms. If you would like your account and its stored details deleted, email us and we will remove them.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no cookies of its own, runs no analytics, carries no advertising, and contains no social media trackers or embedded third-party widgets. Nothing about your visit is recorded by us.
If you sign in to an account, Firebase stores a sign-in token in your browser so you stay logged in between visits. Clearing your browser data removes it.
Services this site loads from elsewhere
To display correctly, pages request a small number of files from other providers. Those providers can see your IP address and basic browser information as a normal part of serving a file:
- Google Fonts — the two typefaces used throughout the site
- jsDelivr — the Bootstrap stylesheet and script
- Google Firebase — only on the log-in and account pages
Links to Google Maps and to email or phone applications open in the relevant app or site, which then applies its own privacy terms rather than ours.
Downloads
Files offered on the Downloads page are served as ordinary file downloads. We do not attach identifiers to them and we do not record who downloads what.
How long we keep things
Correspondence is kept for as long as it is useful for the work it relates to and for our own records afterwards. Account details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Project files and data belonging to a client are governed by the written agreement for that project, not by this policy.
Your choices
You can use this website without giving us anything at all. If you have written to us or created an account, you may ask at any time to see what we hold, to have it corrected, or to have it deleted. Write to ghaztechsolutions@gmail.com and we will act on it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes affecting existing account holders will be mentioned by email.
